Poppies for Remembrance

We held our first poppy-making workshop on Saturday 20th October. Members of the Leverstock Green community joined lots of our families to turn the bottoms of plastic bottles into bright red poppies ready for Remembrance Day. The poppies will be displayed around the village war memorial to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Armistice Day.
