Reception decided to help our community by making treats to share at "Tea on the Green." This is community morning that was set up after lockdown to encourage people to come together and share tea and cake. The children decorated a selection of cupcakes the day before. On the morning of the trip, we were joined by Mrs Sentance who brought her guitar to play along. The children spoke with member of the public who attended. They found our one gentleman used to drive a fire truck and another lady used to be a nurse. The children sang their songs beautifully before singing happy birthday. The children were super at sharing their cakes with the people who attended. We then all had a drink and a cake too. The children were all brilliantly well behaved and we have been asked to return at Christmas to share carols.
