Enterprise Week 5th - 9th December
The children at Leverstock Green Primary School have been budding entrepreneurs! Each class was given homework to come up with a ‘business plan’, to make and sell products with a Christmas theme. The children voted on their favourite idea, were given an initial budget with which to buy materials and set to work. On the Friday afternoon, there was a flurry of activity as classrooms were turned into ‘shops’ and a grotto appeared in the hall, ready for the arrival of a very important visitor. The children had a fantastic time selling their wares- everything from sweets and cakes to tealight holders and reindeer food! Father Christmas decided all the children have been good this year and gave them all a gift. In total, they raised £839 which will be spent on a theatre performance in school and new reading resources.
