Home Learning to be handed in on Tuesday 24^th  March 2026

The children completed maths assessments this week and have done very well as a class. Their hard work is certainly paying off. We are now moving onto fractions, but the task set this week will allow them to consolidate the learning they’ve completed with multiplication and division.

Reading

Please ensure your children practises their times tables daily on TTRS. This only needs to be for 5/ 10 minutes per day but daily practise is proven to lead to greater fluency.

We will also be using the resource in class whenever we can.

Please ensure your child has read a minimum of 5 times and logged it into their reading record. Reading is the key to them accessing the full curriculum and they will struggle with further learning without the necessary practise.

Group 1-    Words where 'a' makes an /o/ sound

Group 2-  Words ending with the suffix '-er'
