We have all had a busy first week in Nursery. It's been lovely getting to know the children.  Everyone has had a great time, please look at our photo gallery below to see what we have been up to. 

Please remember to come to school in clothes you are happy to get messy, and ensure your child has a bag of spare clothes, just in case they are required. A few reminders:

The school day is: 8.40 am - 11:40am for the morning session. Our afternoon runs 11:40am - 2:40pm, the option of booking extra time (until 3:15pm) is available if needed. Those children staying for lunch will need to bring their own lunchbox and please, NO NUTS or NUT PRODUCTS, as per our school policy. 

A few reminders:

     Jewellery is not allowed. 1 pair of studs only. 

     Please put names on EVERYTHING!

     Named water bottle – no squash or juice!!!!

Week 1

Here are some pictures from our first week in Nursery.

If you fancy getting your hands dirty then why not try our no-cook playdough recipe. The children love helping to make our playdough in class. You could even make your recipe more exciting by adding some scents or even some glitter!

’50 Things to do before you’re five’

There is a brand new app for families in Hertfordshire! It’s called ’50 Things to do before you’re five‘, it’s intention is to improve outcomes for our younger children. It’s full of ideas for activities and experiences that can be accessible for everyone that encourage communication and language, being active and trying new things. Many experiences are outdoors and open ended so the whole family can take part!

How many experiences and memories can you tick off?
