Nursery

Welcome to Nursery's class page

We have finished the Spring term and what a busy Term it has been! we've had pirates galore, learning about how Christians celebrate Easter and this week we ended the term with an Easter Egg Hunt in the garden!

I'm sure the children are tired, they have worked extremely hard in our phonics lessons this term and most of us are now able to write our names with increased accuracy after practising in our Busy Finger sessions.

We hope you all have a restful Easter holiday with friends and family, we shall see you all on Monday 13th April.

Forest School

This week we went out and did some litter picking as part of Climate Week. Just look at all the different things we found!

Home Learning

As we start moving into our final term we would like you to practice some 'core skills' with your child at home. We would like them to be able to count 10 objects accurately, read numerals to at least 5, write their name and manage their own coats and shoes independently (including zips and fastenings). Please practice these things over the next few weeks to help them become confident, independent and resilient learners.

As always, if you would like to share any photos of your child completing learning activities or other special things them please email in to admin@leverstockgreen.herts.sch.uk

Important Information

As the weather is changeable at the moment please make sure your child has a suitable coat/ jacket suitable shoes (preferably a pair of welly boots in school as well), a jumper and some spare clothes. You may also wish to send them in with a sun hat, but please, as always, make sure everything is labelled! A gentle reminder that we are unable to reapply sun cream and children should not have this in their bags. This should be applied at home before children come in.
